WHO ARE THE MOST LIKELY VICTIMS AND WHY?
[SEX TRAFFICKING AND SOCIAL MEDIA EXPLOITATION]

Thousands of kids each year are victimized through sextortion, social media exploitation, sex trafficking and child pornography. And, technologies such as encrypted messaging, instant messaging apps (like Facebook messenger and KIK), disappearing video (like SnapChat and Instagram), live streaming (like Tik Tok, Omegle and live.me), dating sites (like My LOL, Crush Zone, MeetMe, and Grindr), online gaming chat rooms (like GTA, Fortnight, Minecraft, and World of Warcraft), and ghost apps (like Calculator and Burn Notes) provide a technology-freeway for predators to access, groom, recruit and exploit our children.

So who are the most vulnerable victims?

  • Foster, homeless and runaway kids
  • Pregnant teens
  • Sexually active teens
  • Kids from broken homes; single parent households; kids being raised by grandparents
  • Kids with low self esteem
  • Kids who associate with gangs
  • Deaf kids
  • High-functioning autistic kids
  • LGBT kids
  • Affluent kids
  • Pre-pubescent children who are allowed online (including online games)
  • ANY KID who uses the internet and/or has a cell phone
  • ANY KID who believes that exploitation will never happen to them!

Purchase Societal Shift: A World Without Borders… A Home Without Walls and Seduced: The Grooming of America’s Teenagers for only $32.00

THE POWER PACK: 2 BOOKS + 2 WRISTBANDS

2019Power Pack Deal smallTHE POWER PACK INCLUDES:

  1. “Societal Shift: A World Without Borders… A Home Without Walls”
    (retail $18.99/Released January 2019)

The year 2020 will be the most important time in all of history. For the first time ever, the entire world will be connected by technology. Over SIX BILLION people coming together in ways never before experienced. It will indeed be a SOCIETAL SHIFT.

Think about this. Researchers say that 87% of teens sleep with their phone. A world without borders for our children is also a world without borders for pedophiles, predators, pimps, cartels and other organized criminals. That means while you are sleeping bad guys can access your children.

New technologies are introduced to us every day without instruction or warnings about how predators may use them to exploit children. While most kids will survive with minor injury or exploitation, we are playing roulette with their lives. Thousands of kids each year are victimized through sextortion, social media exploitation, sex trafficking and child pornography. And, new technologies such as encrypted messaging, disappearing video, vaporware (live streaming), cryptocurrencies, virtual reality, animation, artificial intelligence and the dark net provide a technology-freeway to access, groom, recruit and exploit our children.

THIS BOOK IS BASED ON REAL CASES and is ideal for parents, educators, civic leaders, first responders and young people.

  2. “Seduced: The Grooming of America’s Teenagers”
    (retail $15.99/Released 2016)

This book examines real cases to illustrate how predators use social media and online gaming to access, groom, recruit and exploit teenagers into sex trafficking, sextortion and exploitation.

Opal Singleton is President and CEO of Million Kids and Training and Outreach Coordinator for Riverside County Anti Human Trafficking Task Force. Opal trains thousands of government agencies, school administrators, corporations, civic groups and faith based organizations about how to prevent human trafficking. She sits with parents of missing kids and talks with teens who are being “Sextorted” with a naked photo. Sometimes the young people are coerced or forced into prostitution. This is human trafficking and it is the fastest growing crime in the U.S. Opal has recognized a disturbing trend. Each encounter with a stranger, every illicit photo represents an opportunity for exploitation. With advancing technology violence and sex can be portrayed in ways that parallel reality. The result is a generation of “Desensitized Teenagers”. We are at a unique time in history. We have a generation of teens who have never NOT known the Internet and parents that are techno-phobic. Parents give kids devices that open the door to over a million predators that can influence a child’s thinking on morality, spirituality and sexuality while they are competing for approval in a fantasy world. Apps, social media and online gaming allow ACCESS, GROOMING, RECRUITMENT AND EXPLOITATION of our young people by total strangers. This book is not just an Internet Safety program. It is a parent and grandparent empowerment tool. IT IS REAL. IT IS EYE OPENING. IT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND THE LIFE OF YOUR FAMILY!

  3. PLUS two “I Believe in You” wristbands (retail $2.00)
These Silicone Wristbands embossed with the Million Kids website and “I Believe In You” are sure to inspire you, your family and your friends! These are a great gift idea and a wonderful way to bring awareness about Human Trafficking and Exploitation! Adult unisex size for men, women and teens in black (3/8” wide by 8” circumference)

MEN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN COMBATING SEX TRAFFICKING

TLA-MSAT-group-night-1024x683

All too often we only think of men as culprits in the war on sex trafficking. However, many men are warriors who are making a difference.

This week we will talk with Patrick Erlandson, a member of the Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force, and Jeremy Greening, father and advocate, both of these men are leading the fight against trafficking by decreasing demand and recognizing the connection between pornography and prostitution.

We will discuss many critical issues related to sex trafficking including the apathy of fathers, the sexual numbing down of our society, and ways that real men can make a difference. Patrick and Jeremy are two men who have the knowledge and expertise to help other men find creative and effective ways to get involved and stop sexual exploitation.

Join us Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 7:00am PST on Voice America Variety Channel or access the archived show on ExploitedCrimes.com as host, Opal Singleton, talks about the impact men can have in the fight against trafficking.

Jeremy Greening Headshot-1Jeremy Greening

As a homeschooling father of eight, Jeremy believes strongly in community and improving our world for the next generation. He currently serves as Global Alliances Marketing Director for Dell EMC and is an expert on leadership, teamwork, and building & maintaining ethical business relationships with all partners, managers, and executives.

Just as comfortable with C-suite communications and strategy as working on the front lines, Jeremy is passionate about finding Biblical solutions to society’s most pressing problems.

Jeremy demonstrates a passion for improving the lives of those around him through area revitalization efforts as a real estate investor and raising awareness for pressing social issues including right to life and human trafficking.

He volunteers with Rebirth Homes, a faith-based non-profit organization that delivers a holistic healing program for victims of sex trafficking covering their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Jeremy’s particular area of focus in the ministry is decreasing demand for the sex trade by connecting the dots between pornography, prostitution, and trafficking and encouraging men to take a leadership role on combatting this.

Jeremy graduated cum laude from American Intercontinental University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

patrick_erlandsonPatrick Erlandson

About six years ago, Patrick Erlandson joined the Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force (LBHTTF) to spread awareness of trafficking. But, he said, more was needed.

“Men are critical to solving the issue,” Erlandson said. “As long as women remain the focus of trafficking, not much will happen… Without changing the sense of entitlement with men, nothing will happen.”

The idea led Erlandson to start the Long Beach branch of Men Standing Against Human Trafficking (MSAT). MSAT is a Southern California program by Faith Initiative to Abolish Trafficking (FIAT). He created the group to help solve a big piece of the puzzle, adding men.

Patrick has been married to his very patient wife for 36 years, lived in Japan for 8 years, has two daughters, the younger of whom was approached by “modeling recruiters” in the Del Amo fashion mall. Patrick worked for 2 years with the refugee agency of UNHCR in Los Angeles where he first learned about organ trafficking and child soldiers which led him to investigating the issue of domestic human trafficking. His priority has always been on prevention which is why he feels we need to address pornography and fathers.

The year 2020 will be the most important time in all of history as the entire world is connected by Internet. Over SIX BILLION people will be connected by technology. It will change crime and crime solving forever. IT IS INDEED A SOCIETAL SHIFT.

Think about this. Researchers say that 87% of teens sleep with their phone. A world without borders for our children is also a world without borders for pedophiles, predators, pimps, cartels and other organized criminals. That means while you are sleeping bad guys can access your children.

Advancing technologies like mass audience live streaming, encrypted chat rooms, block chain, cryptocurrencies and the dark net challenge law enforcement in crime solving and make it nearly impossible for a parent to keep a child safe.

“SOCIETAL SHIFT: A WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS… A HOME WITHOUT WALLS” is based on real cases of how technology is used to create large-scale sextortion rings, international sex trafficking rings that are operating right in your community, and dark net child pornography rings that are subsidized when your child sends a naked photo or video to someone they believe they can trust. THIS MAY BE THE MOST IMPORTANT BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ!

We are entering the most important time in all of history. More important than the industrial revolution. The year 2020 will see the entire world connected by internet… more than 6 BILLION people coming together. It will be a world without borders for our kids, but also a world without borders for pedophiles, predators, pimps, cartels and organized crime. Literally, 87% of our kids sleep with their phones which means it is a HOME WITHOUT WALLS as total strangers creep through the sheets at 3:00 AM to access, groom, recruit and exploit our kids.

Advancing technologies such as encrypted messaging, vaporware, mass audience live streaming, virtual reality chatrooms, animated video game pornography, cryptocurrency, block chain, and the dark web will change crimes and crime solving. It also means that law enforcement and parents will not be able to keep kids safe from predators.

Societal Shift takes a hard look at current and future crimes and how technology will be used to exploit our kids. We will also talk about the solutions that will use cutting-edge technologies for prevention and intervention of sex crimes such as sextortion, sex trafficking and crowd sourcing social media exploitation.

ANIMATED PORNOGRAPHY:
HOW IT IMPACTS TEENS IN VIDEO GAMING

5-pornhub-insights-2018-year-review-most-searched-game-characters

Recently, PornHub (the largest porn site in the world) released their 2018 data, and the findings are very concerning. Many of the popular searches in PornHub were video game characters created in a pornographic setting. For example, of the 33 BILLION porn video downloads, Fortnite and Bowsette (a Nintendo character) led the searches. Equally disturbing is the new trend of creating animated pornography parodies of these video games, which are being downloaded by the tens of millions.

Five of the searches were related to FORTNITE characters and 9 of the top searches were related to Overwatch characters. Many more were related to Marvel characters. Nearly 80% of these downloads were through smart phones. The other significant revelation is that in categories viewed the longest, the leader is “Amateur” videos, something teens can create on their own just by using live-streaming apps.

In this episode we will discuss the implications of this report for our teens who play video games which contain explicit animated pornography. We will talk about the force multiplier when all members (including a 13-year-old boy) are looking at pornographic scenes where the players have sex with the characters and share it with adult strangers in a chat room. We will discuss the concept that many players are hormonal and developing their sexual identity making them easy targets for recruitment and exploitation. In much of video gaming pornography, the sex is one way, sometimes it is a weapon and there is virtually no relationship with the object of their sexual engagement. Although video game pornography may seem harmless, it can become addictive, and gives teenagers a sense of sex without commitment or consequences, and, unrealistically, sex where they control all factors in their fantasy world. Unfortunately, most parents are unaware that video game pornography shared with strangers in a public chat room is a dangerous virtual incubator for grooming and exploitation.

Here’s one way YOU can educate your community and help keep kids safe from predators for FREE!

2019exploited-cah-blog

We are often asked, “What can I do to help end the exploitation of kids in my community?” While there are many directions we can point you in, today we would like to focus on one idea… a weekly small group discussion.

Each week Million Kids produces a FREE internet radio program called, “Exploited – Crimes Against Humanity.” The show is one hour long and focuses on issues like sex trafficking, labor trafficking, sextortion, child pornography, the dark web and more! When you visit the website at ExploitedCrimes.com you will find over 100 hours of FREE training shows along with corresponding training blogs. The show is also available on iTunes. You can listen from home, in your car, or any where you have access to the internet.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Organize a small group. This could be members from your church, women’s group, co-workers, friends, and/or family. Kind of like a book club.
  2. Each week choose one show and have everyone, on their own time, listen to the show. Go to: ExploitedCrimes.com
  3. Then have the group meet at your appointed time and location to discuss what each member learned and how this information can be applied to your community.

Who knows what this could expand into?! Perhaps, your small group could grow into a larger group where you could then begin to explore other ways to bring this important education, like a symposium, to your area.

Million Kids has done many of these events all over the nation (See: Anti-human trafficking expert speaks in Lenexa). Sometimes these are three day events where we will train your first responders (such as law enforcement and fire departments) on one day; social services (such as child welfare, etc…) on another day; and finally culminate in a large forum public event!

All you need to do to get started is to get started! What are you waiting for?

Exploited – Crimes Against Humanity is a weekly GLOBAL internet radio program that reaches 170 countries. ALL of the shows are ARCHIVED for your convenience (or you can listen live Thursdays at 7:00am PST) with over 100 hours of FREE human trafficking and exploitation training to help you find solutions for your community!

Designed to educate FIRST RESPONDERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, SOCIAL WORKERS, CIVIC LEADERS, FAITH-BASED COMMUNITIES, AND PARENTS the program, hosted by author and human trafficking and child pornography expert, Opal Singleton, shares the latest information about labor and sex trafficking, sextortion, child pornography and social media technology-driven exploitation.
