Sex Trafficking 101 – Part 2
A complex crime with many looks and variations
“WHO” – This week we will look at the many faces and backgrounds of victims. Some are young and in love, some are runaways, some are 19 and think they have the modeling contract of a lifetime, some are 22 and between relationships, some are 35 and addicted to heroin, some are foreign nationals or refugees in need of REAL income. Not ONE of these victims ever understood the damage and hardship they were about to endure.
We will also look at the many ways victims are exploited. We will examine the “WHERE” so you know what to look for and how to spot it. We will look at “HOW” they are sold and exploited. And, we will look at “WHAT” you can do about it.
